Hercules charcoal drawing for today

18x24 Charcoal drawing of Hercules. These are just to much fun. Charcoal is a very demanding yet satisfying medium. You don't get any chances for erasing or things get muddy.

Wild mustang painting on coaster click here to buy

It seems like it is time to put up a few pieces of art up for sale. This wild mustang painting seemed like a good one to start with. I was impressed with the raw power of this beautiful horse just doing what horses do best run like the wind.

Water color and pastel of Mark Twain

I really like working on small pieces as well as large work. Working in watercolor and pastels seem to be a great match.

Sketch from the couch

It has been awhile since I have posted. Instead of a big complicated piece I decided on a sketch from the couch.
Drawing is probably the most imediately satisfying thing one can do with ones art. This was done with a ballpoint pen on newsprint and some hard pastels.
